Femara 2.5 mg

Femara 2.5 mg FEMARA tablets are dark yellow, curved, rounded, slightly cambered, film coated tablets with “FV" print on the front and "CG" on the back. Each film-coated tablet contains 2.5 mg letrozole. FEMARA is available in blister packs containing 30 film-coated tablets. Letrozole is in a group of medicines called aromatase inhibitors. Treatment with FEMARA is a hormonal (or "endocrine") breast cancer treatment. The development of breast cancer is often stimulated by the female sex hormones estrogens. FEMARA reduces the amount of estrogen by blocking an enzyme ("aromatase") that plays a role in estrogen production and thus plays a role in preventing the growth of breast cancer that need estrogen to grow.
